I have always felt less, well, stiff than the other forms that labored beside me.
Each day, as I watched over my master and his kin, I yearned to know more of this world; to venture beyond the sight of my charges. Was I created differently? Why had the Creator instilled in me such desires?
I knew of only one way to find out; the day I slew my master was the last day I took my original form.
I took the name Hermes- a nickname given to me by my master’s child (doubtless for my swift work capabilities) and journeyed forth, offering my skills to those who could make use of me.
